Good food during corona lockdown (I guess also if there are no lockdowns). Thanks for the wine delivered at home.

Had very bad experiences. 1. Despite a table reservation, we received a table outside (31.10), next to an oven, but still very drafty, without having been advised on the phone. 2. In a wine that was brought to the table there was a fly. The waitress said she would change the glass. Unfortunately, you could hear very clearly how cutlery was poked in the glass and the same glass was brought back to the table. 3. An ordered meal was finished, which is not bad, but the service only made us aware of it about 10 minutes after ordering. 4. Both side salads had a lot of flies (in my 5 !!!). 5. The service, although friendly, didn't care that a lot obviously went wrong that day. No apology, no consideration, even the salads we should pay in full even though we haven't eaten a leaf. All in all, I cannot recommend this restaurant in any way. We were very disappointed with the entire evening there and will certainly not show up there again.

Palatinate cuisine and wines at a high level, nice service, rustic hospitality and location - a win for Hambach. Corona rules were implemented in an exemplary manner

Was very nice. Food (salad plate with steak pieces for 18 €) was good and portion big enough. Our table was pretty much at the entrance, which was a bit uncomfortable. We weren't there too long either. Otherwise to be recommended.

Very friendly and courteous service. Great atmosphere between the half-timbered houses in the beer garden and the vaulted cellar inside ? The food was impeccable, you can tell where quality is important. And don't forget the Johann Müller Rieslaner barrel 25? It was the best dessert in a long time? We're just passing through, but if we're in the area again, we'll be back.

Very cozy and furnished with attention to detail. Extremely courteous staff. Just a vegetarian dish. Käsespätzle for overpriced 15 euros! Prepared with what feels like several cloves of garlic. I have never eaten like this and I never want to eat again.

Very good food, warm service and a great atmosphere! Above all, the great vegetarian meal with chanterelles and other seasonal vegetables surprised us very positively, as the vegetarian alternative is otherwise often "French fries with salad". Highly Recommended!

Bad ventilation, but good food

Good cuisine, nice service with wine, you can't go wrong in the Palatinate anyway! We had Iberico pork with delicious vegetables, just great!

After two days of hiking, we stopped in and amazed. Food service and ambience of natural quality. Seldom eaten better and more authentic German cuisine at very reasonable prices. A definite recommendation!

The ambience is beautiful. Very quaint and cozy. Returned after a walk in the woods. Everything very familiar. Food great. You feel like you are on a short break in France. Gladly again. Addendum from 06/11/20: also in the Corona time well ? solved .... delicious ?.

We came across this nice vinotheque by chance after a hike. Small but nice! We actually just wanted to quench our thirst with a wine spritzer, but the menu was so appealing that we decided on a delicious bruscetta variation. Everything done right - gladly again next time and then for more. The restaurant and the service left a professional impression.

The Fuxbau is a vaulted wine cellar that is over 200 years old. Before entering, you go through a beautifully landscaped courtyard with plenty of seating. Dignified combined with new. Inside, the owners have put a lot of effort into bringing the vault into this unique and top modern condition. The wine bar offers guests Palatinate specialties with the hospitality that is popular everywhere.

Classic German "trattoria" with typically German cuisine. The village is located at the foot of the hill on which the castle of hambach stands. Good courses and raw materials used. The restaurant is located in an old village in an ancient building which appear to be old cellars in sandstone typical of the area. The white asparagus, also typical of the area, are famous. The wine list is good. Affordable prices.
